While it's understood that sometimes there is a higher cost associated with sustainability, it seemed curious that there was such a consistent markup. The solution, again, was local. Our area is fortunate to host a variety of eco expos, each with hundreds of booths showcasing green products that they invented or manufactured. When I would ask them where I could find their products, most said that the expo was the best place that they had an opportunity to get their product directly to the right consumers. Most had websites, but the sites were the name of their product and so they didn't get much direct traffic.

 It was in the spirit of collaboration that Go Green Etc. was formed, to create a marketplace which would put these diverse sellers in direct contact with the same people that are searching for environmentally friendly alternatives to products we use daily. Go Green Etc. allows producers of green products to easily showcase their products, and helps consumers easily shop for and purchase these products online. Our sellers will be able to set up their own online stores and promote their products to a vast number of consumers who are looking for sustainable products that they can add to their healthy home. We are essentially a virtual mall for the green community.
